Euro 2008: Wednesday, October 17, 2007 [Thierry Henry makes new record]

Thierry Henry broke Michel Platini’s international goalscoring record today on October 17, when France beat Lithuania 2-0. Thierry Henry match level with Platini on 41 goals, but scored 2 more in the 80th and 81st minute. But he still has a long way to beat the top international goal scorer, Iranian Ali Daei, who has 109 international goals.
